Si por algo me gusta tom waits es por esa facilidad que tiene para hacer poesia de momentos profundamente urbanos, intimos y decadentes... Y es bello, visceral y la misma musica te lleva a la escena, te identifica, no te hace anhelar, muy por el contrario le da un tinte de magia a la cotidianeidad, haciendola tan anhelable como un paisaje llenod e aves o una playa lejana... Le da un aire de exquisita libertad de apreciar lo urbano y cotidiano como algo magico, y ese pedazo de libertad que regala, es inapreciable.
